Mr. Bennett was the perfect choice to explain the importance of developing a sound health plan at an early age. His talk was not only informative but entertaining as well. He captivated the audience with this descriptions of various experiences while playing in the NBA. I believe Mr. Bennett is an inspirational speaker who would appeal to any age group.
... His stature and stage presence brought total silence from the audience during his presentation and left them spellbound. His comments illustrated respect for authority, appreciation for role model teachers during his school years... ... People tell me this was our very best Opening Day Prgram, mainly because of our speaker, Winston Bennett III.
... I cannot tell you the faces I saw come alive as Winston spoke to the students. We never really know who will be touched by one's words. However, I am confident that Coach Bennett touched the lives of many of our students with his inspirational words ...
Winston Bennett, MBA has learned through the tests and trials of life that if you are going to be a success you have got to fight. The fight is not against your competition, but against yourself. We are our own worst enemy. If you are to become great, you must overcome you. That means conquering our own self doubt. That means believing in ourselves, having a positive attitude when life looks bleak. That means having a vision for your life. You must have a relentless work ethic and you must have that burning desire to be the best.
After experiencing numerous career ending injuries, Winston continued to fight to achieve his dreams and his goals. Instead of relinquishing his dream to play basketball at the University of Kentucky, and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA, he continued to fight. If you are going to be successful in life, you too will have to fight for you life. However, when you decide to be successful, no matter what the field of endeavor, expect challenges.
Winston believes you only become successful in life after you have received your PHD. You must be Poor in spirit (humble), Hungry in your pursuit (passionate), and Driven in the direction of your goals (tenacious). It has been said, if you continue to do what you have always done, you will continue to get the results you have always received.
